In September, our ward always has a cultural night. Most of the Latin American countries celebrate their Independence Day in the middle of September. Anyway, this year me and my sister-in-law, Pilar participated in one of the special dance numbers. We did a dance from the area of Chiapas, Mexico. It was a lot of fun to learn the dance and I'm sure that people were more than a little surprised to see one of the "gringas" of the ward dancing a traditional Mexican dance.
