We hope you all enjoyed your Christmas holiday! We had so much fun this year as a family. The weekend before Christmas, we went to Grandpa and Grandma Jane's house for dinner and a gift exchange. Since Isabel is almost 2, she really seemed to enjoy pulling wrapping off the gifts this year! By far, her favorite gift is the little stuffed Boots (from Dora the Explorer) that she got!
On December 24th, we had our traditional get together with Ernesto's side of the family and other friends. Before digging into dinner, we sang a few Christmas hymns to help us remember the true meaning of this special season. Then, we had a feast of different tacos including lengua, carne asada, and carnitas. And we had cake for dessert. We were happy that Ted and Lisa Ayala were able to join us again this year.
After dinner, we had the Cantón family gift exchange. Here is Isabel opening her new Dora the Explorer doll from her cousin, Roxana.
And, here is Limhi opening a new game for the Wii from his cousin, Dioni.
And, finally, we have Lehonti opening a big box of different puzzles from his cousin, Oscar.
On Christmas morning, the kids were excited to go downstairs and see their stockings and gifts from Santa.
After a morning of gifts, we went to my mom's house for a Christmas lunch. Unfortunately, I didn't remember the camera...boo-hoo. We had a great Christmas Day and hope your's was wonderful too!

Em...you definitely got caught up on blogging...I'd been thinking you were letting it fade away and so quit checking as often because there weren't any new posts. Tonight I read all the posts you made in December for your second half of 2010--wonderful family memories you're making! And very great to see all the pictures!
However...it's March now. I want updates of your last two months!!! :)
