So, at some point during our drive through Arches, Ernesto pulled over and decided to take a hike...up a huge rock formation. He then convinced the boys that it would be fun to scale an even bigger rock! I was sure that I was going to be one of those people making a phone call to a park ranger saying the rest of my family had fallen off said rock and that they needed to be rescued. (I am offically the worry wort of the Cantón family, although I prefer the term cautious or realistic.) The first picture is a close up of Ernesto while he is filming the view. And the second picture is to put it into perspecitve of where he is standing.
As we were taking these pictures, a big deer came walking through. It scared us to death! I mean, we're out in this big rocks and cliffs and the deer came out of nowhere. It's not something you really expect to see!
