Over Labor Day weekend, we took yet another road trip. This time to Las Vegas. Our first day in Vegas was devoted to the Children's Museum, which is located off the Old Strip. We started in area devoted to different types of careers. Here, we pretended to be the different people at an airport, including pilots, security, and luggage handlers.
Most of the time, Isabel would run ahead in the exhibits and find what was most interesting to her! This is where we found her while Limhi was pretending to be a plumber and Lehonti was still going through airport security.
The Children's Museum had a big stage and a whole set of costumes. I believe that Limhi was a karate kid, Lehonti was a firefighter, and I tried to make Isabel be a dancer. She was not happy about the costume.
She did like the store better. They had all kinds of different items to "buy" and had several cash registers, which made for short lines!
On the second floor, it was more of a science center. At the first station we learned how TV worked. We stood in front of a screen and the others could see us on the TV. This was our attempt at taking pictures of that activity as we pretend to be hockey and soccer players.
The next station let you feel what it is like to be in the winds of a hurricane. We stood inside this phone booth thing and the wind started blowing up to 75 miles per hour.
This section was Isabel's favorite!!!! There were a whole bunch of plastic balls that vacuum tubes would suck up. You could see the balls shoot up and then come down different slides. She didn't want to leave the exhibit.
And, here is pretty Miss Isabel sitting outside the museum. We were waiting for the car to cool down because it was 117 degrees in Vegas.

LOVE THIS! My favorite is Ernesto being a soccer player. Looks like all his World Cup watching finally paid off! Isabel is so darn cute. What a good baby!
