Los Manglares de Catemaco

At another spot, we entered "los manglares." The driver of the boat took us under all of these trees. Millions a little black and red crabs live here and walk along the bottoms of the trees. The interesting thing is that where we are walking and sitting are actually the roots of the tree. The grow down toward the water of the lake. It was really amazing to think that underneath all the trees we see are roots that look just like this!
