Self Portraits of Easter Morning

After our Easter egg dying...we were sitting around together. We decided to try taking pictures of ourselves with the kids. Papa made the first attempt. He looks like he's alseep and Isabel looks like she's trying to get away. Next, Limhi and I tried. I think it turned out pretty good, don't you? Lehonti must take after his Papa...asleep! (Although I do have to admit that a flash that close to your eyes is probably not good!) Isabel just wanted the camera and tried to escape.

I read somewhere about a mom who was diagnosed with cancer. Previous to her diagnosis, she would always try to stay out of pictures or rip up the ones that she was actually caught in. But during cancer and chemotherapy, she started taking a ton of pictures of herself with her children so that they would remember her and remember being with her. After I read that, I decided that I will no longer hide from the camera. I don't want my personal insecurities to stop me from being a part of the memories!
