Friday Nights

Every Friday night, you can find our family at the local Family Fitness Center. It's our night to work on Lehonti's physical therapy...and we all join in the fun. Whether we are watching Limhi "swim" underwater with his goggles, waiting for Papa to come down the slide, or helping Lehonti walk around, we always have an enjoyable time.

Words cannot express how amazing it is to see the freedom that Lehonti has in the water. Things that you and I take for granted everyday, become a rare treat for this cute boy. For example, in the water Lehonti gains the independence of walking by himself while being able to use both hands to play catch with a beach ball. At times it is simply overwhelming to know that I have a tiny example of Mosiah 3:19 in my home,

"For the natural man is an enemy to God,

and has been from the fall of Adam,

and will be, forever and ever,

unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit,

and putteth off the natural man

and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord,

and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient,

full of love, willing to submit to all things

which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him,

even as a child doth submit to his father.
