Today I was reading the words of a beautiful conference talk by Ronald A. Rasband, a member of the Presidency of the Seventy (http://www.lds.org/general-conference/2012/04/special-lessons?lang=eng). Just over ten years ago, we brought Lehonti home from his five month stay in the Primary Children's Medical Center NICU. The odds were against our baby boy, but he had already proved doctor opinion to be wrong. They said he wouldn't live, but he did. They said he wouldn't eat, but he did. They said he wouldn't hear, but he does! They said he couldn't see, but he can. They said he wouldn't speak, but he does! They said he wouldn't walk, but he does! This miracle baby has taught our family "special lessons" of faith, priesthood power, prayer, patience, and Christlike love. He is my life-long reminder that miracles do happen.
